Thank you for spoiling me during teacher appreciation week! I know I'm lucky to be a teacher and work with your amazing children. Only two weeks of school left, so let's end this school year on a high note! Here's what to look forward to:
Language
Arts: Students will explore a new story: Rip Van Winkle. In grammar, sentence
diagramming and classification continues. One last week of Spalding brings new
words and new markings.
Math: Students will complete a unit on measurements and shapes. The year ends with a review of multiplication facts. There will be a math test on Thursday.
Science: Students continue the unit on the respiratory system, studying the lungs and the airways. There will be a science test Tuesday.
History: Students will conclude a unit that looks at the first six Presidents of the United States. There will be a history test Wednesday.
